Learn what the DC HeroClix Batman Animated Series Dice and Token Pack includes, how it enhances gameplay, and whether it's the right accessory for your collection.
Quick answer
The DC HeroClix Batman Animated Series Dice and Token Pack adds themed dice and action tokens to your HeroClix games, but it's best for collectors and fans of the animated series rather than players who already have generic accessories.
What makes this pack different from standard accessories?
Unlike plain dice or generic tokens, this pack features custom dice with a special icon celebrating the DC HeroClix: Batman The Animated Series Booster Brick. The six action tokens are themed around Gotham heroes and villains from the show, giving your matches a visual tie-in to the source material.
If you already own standard HeroClix dice and tokens, this pack doesn't change gameplay mechanics. It's purely an aesthetic upgrade for fans who want their table to reflect the animated series atmosphere.
Who benefits most from themed accessories?
Players who enjoy immersive, themed play sessions will appreciate the cohesive look. The dice icon and token art can make a casual game feel more connected to the Batman TAS universe. On the other hand, competitive players focused solely on functionality may find generic tokens more cost-effective.
The pack's small size (2 dice, 6 tokens) makes it a low-commitment purchase. You can carry it in a deck box or bag without adding bulk.
How to decide if this pack is right for you
- You want themed accessories for your HeroClix games: If you already play or collect Batman TAS HeroClix figures, these dice and tokens match the aesthetic. They work with any HeroClix set, but the theme is strongest when paired with the booster brick.
- You need extra dice or tokens for larger games: The pack provides only 2 dice and 6 tokens. For games with multiple players or frequent token use, you may need to combine this with other dice sets or token packs. Consider buying two packs if you regularly play 3-4 player games.
- You prioritize cost over theme: Generic dice and token packs are often cheaper per piece. If you don't care about the animated series art, a standard accessory set offers better value.
