D&D Icons Balagos vs Grung Warband: Which to Buy?

Quick answer

Choose the Balagos Ancient Red Dragon if you want an impressive display centerpiece; pick the Grung Warband for a versatile, affordable squad ready for your gaming table.

Trade-offs at a glance

• Balagos: centerpiece vs. price: You get a massive, detailed dragon that commands attention, but you pay a premium and need space for assembly and display.
• Grung Warband: value vs. availability: You get multiple figures for a low price, but you must wait for the back-order release and plan separate orders if you want other items sooner.
• Gaming use vs. display: Balagos works best as a showpiece or a terrifying boss encounter. The Grung Warband fits seamlessly into regular play sessions as a versatile enemy squad.

Product facts at a glance

• D&D Icons of the Realms: Balagos, Ancient Red Dragon: Standing over 18 inches tall with a near 24 inch wingspan, Balagos includes detachable wings and tail. This makes it a stunning display piece but requires assembly and dedicated shelf space.

• BACK-ORDER - D&D Icons of the Realms: Grung Warband: The Grung Warband is a back-order item; the entire order holds until the release date. If you need the figures quickly, order them separately from in-stock items to avoid delays.
