The deep cuts really do make a difference when you're trying to reach the inner folds of the wings, way less awkward than the solid casts I've painted before. Primer went on smooth right out of the package, no scrubbing or washing needed first.

The prep work on this one is basically done for you since it comes primed straight out of the box. I spent maybe ten minutes on the wings before the wash settled into those deep cuts.

The deep cuts on this pit devil are a lifesaver — I could actually reach the wing folds and inner thigh without wrecking the brush. Primer coat is thin and even, so it took my base layers without any patchiness. Best mini I've prepped in months.
