Violet D. ★★★★★

The priming on this salamander is even and thin, so I could start laying down base coats right away without any prep work. I was worried the fine scales on the tail would be a mess to paint, but the sculpt holds the detail cleanly.

Jason T. ★★★★★

The deep cuts between the armor plates made this way easier to paint than I expected, and the primer coat took my washes without any beading. Stood it next to my other flame creatures on the table and it fits right in scale-wise.

Kevin ★★★★☆

The detail on the tail and scales is sharper than I expected for the price, and the deep cuts between the coils actually make painting the underside way less fiddly. Only gripe is one small spot on the base that needed a bit of primer touch-up before my wash would stick.
